IMA Volunteers at Anglers United Fund Raiser
IMA Valley of the Sun Chapter provides volunteer accounting services to community organizations. IMA volunteers provided services to the Anglers United 1st Annual Barbecue and fund-raiser.


/Accounting News Articles/ - TEMPE, AZ, May 12, 2008 - The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) announces that members of the Arizona Valley of the Sun Chapter provided volunteer services at the AZ Anglers United 1st Annual Barbecue and fund-raiser held May 7, 2008, at the Pera Club in Phoenix, AZ. Three volunteers from the IMA chapter provided accounting services for registration, casino events, prizes, raffles, live and silent auctions, cash collections, and credit card processing. This was a fun event and a great fund-raiser for the AZ Anglers United (an organization committed to improving Arizona's fishing). IMA volunteers were recognized for their contributions in the Anglers United program. These volunteer services make the IMA a valuable part of the community.
