Jessica Acosta Trains Verizon Staff to Score High on Internal Audits

BLOOMFIELD, NJ, August 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jessica Acosta, Retail Operations Manager for Verizon Wireless, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in auditing.

With nine years of professional experience, Ms. Acosta specializes in training and coaching. She assumed her current position at Verizon in 2006. Her responsibilities include overseeing 27 locations and preparing them to score high on internal audits. Ms. Acosta first joined the company as a customer service representative. She attributes her rise through the ranks to working hard and always doing her best.

Ms. Acosta emigrated to the United States from El Salvador at the age of 9 and attended the George School in Newtown, PA, for which she had to go through a four-step interview process to receive a scholarship through The Wight Foundation. She has won several awards with Verizon Wireless: Customer Care Representative of the Quarter for 4th Quarter 2003; 1st Half 2005 Award for Achieving a 93% Field Audit Report Average for 1st and 2nd Quarters; and the 2006 President's Cabinet for Excellence Award for Exemplary Performance. She participates regularly in AIDS walks. Her goals for the future include obtaining her Bachelor's Degree and working in Verizon's human resource department or on the finance team as an official auditor.
