SYLVA, NC, October 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leslie N. Gaddis, Accounting Technician III at the Southwestern Child Development Commission, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in accounting.

As an accounting technician III at the Southwestern Child Development Commission, Mrs. Gaddis is responsible for managing accounts including accrued payable and allocating costs. She became involved in her profession because of her love for mathematics and interest in working with numbers. Her husband serves in the Army National Guard and they have a daughter. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her family.

Mrs. Gaddis received her master's degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2009 and her bachelor's degree in accounting in 2007. She serves as treasurer of the parent-teacher organization at the local school and hopes to eventually work for the federal government.
