Albana Orgocka Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Albana Orgocka attributes her success to hard work, determination and great role models
MELROSE, MA, October 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Albana Orgocka, Estate Administrator for the Loring, Wolcott & Coolidge Office, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in federal and state taxation laws, social work and people management.
At Loring, Wolcott and Coolidge Office, Ms. Orgocka oversees all aspects of estate administration including the preparation of all required estate tax returns and probate accounting documents. She also performs a complex and wide range of estate administration functions requiring significant knowledge of federal and state estate, generation skipping and gift taxation principals, extensive personal trust and probate accounting practices and investment and personal tax laws. Ms. Orgocka began her career as the managing director for the Law Office of M. Virginia Morrissey-McDermott. She has also worked as a senior international social worker for the International Social Service - United States of America Branch, Inc. In this capacity, she provided professional casework and consultation services to over 30 international correspondents. She also served as liaison between domestic and foreign social service systems in cases of international child welfare, custody, parental child abduction and family reunification.
In 1996, she earned a master's degree in social work from Columbia University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences and Philosophy from the University of Tirana in Albania in 1991. She also completed ABA Graduate Trust School coursework, and received a Fulbright Scholarship.
Ms. Orgocka is founder, board member, and former co-chairwoman of the Massachusetts Albanian American Society, a non-profit organization that strives to maintain and develop the Albanian language, culture and traditions; to advocate on behalf of the Albanian American community for their common, individual good and welfare; and to do all things necessary to promote and advance this mission. She was recognized by the Albanian American Woman's Organization Motrat Qiriazi with a Woman of the Year Award for her work in the Albanian-American community of Massachusetts. For over a year, Ms. Orgocka has volunteered as a social worker at The International Institute of Boston, offering support to those from Kosovo.
