AUGUSTA, GA, September 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- George Ann Phillips, Administrative Director of the Revenue Cycle at the University Health Care System, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in her career.

Ms. Phillips has 28 years of overall professional experience. Her responsibilities at the University Health Care System include overseeing and managing the revenue cycle from the point of registration to medical records to coding it out to patient services for billing to the insurance company and the collection department. She started out as a registered dietitian and progressed to the director of the emergency department and the director of access services before being promoted to her current position.

In 2003, Ms. Phillips received her Master of Science in Management from Troy State University. She completed the Augusta Area Dietetic Internship Program in 1984. A certified healthcare access manager, she is affiliated with the Georgia Access Managers Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the National Association of Healthcare Access Management.
