Leone Patterson brings diverse and varied financial background to her current position as Vice President of Finance at Exelixis

With over 20 years of professional experience, Ms Patterson attributes her success to being focused and driven to demand excellence in delivery of financial planning and analysis, processes and systems. Her responsibilities at Exelixis include managing financial planning, treasury, procurement, controllership, accounting and SEC reporting. Specializing in finance for biotech/pharma public companies, she has a solid and effective leadership style which she has acquired both in the business and professional athletic world. She previously worked for Novartis and KPMG, achieving senior management levels. Additionally, she played basketball for New Zealand in the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

Ms Patterson is a board member of the San Francisco/Bay Area WEALTH Women, which is an association aimed at advancement of women executives in life science, technology and healthcare and a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
