Kristine J. Noeldner Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Operations Management
Kristine J. Noeldner excels in the music industry, for which she is most passionate
MADISON, WI, October 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kristine J. Noeldner, Administrative Manager for A-R Editions, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in operations management.
Kristine J. Noeldner has 35 years of industry-related experience, with all but 10 of these years spent as administrative manager for A-R Editions, Inc. She is charged with managing accounts payable, billing, and supervising the administrative staff. A-R Editions, Inc. is a world-renowned music publishing company that provides production services and publishes scholarly music editions. This includes six series of recent researches in music (spanning the history of Western music), and a seventh series that explores oral traditions in music.
Kristine J. Noeldner, who received a bachelor of arts in music and business administration in 1974 from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, attributes her success in administrative management to her patience, upbringing and communication skills. Her role at A-R Editions, Inc. compliments her deep passion for music, which she discovered at an early age, when she began taking piano lessons. By the time she was in the seventh grade, due to her outstanding talents, her high school band director assigned her to play clarinet in the high school band. In the eighth grade, she attended her first summer music camp, where her audition awarded her solo chair. In 1967, she auditioned for the First Wisconsin Honors Group. The very first honors group was the Honors Orchestra, in which players across the entire state auditioned for four clarinet chairs — Ms. Noeldner won the audition as the only freshman clarinetist. While in high school, she auditioned for the All-State Milwaukee Band and won that audition as well. During her high school years, she began playing the saxophone and received many solo and ensemble firsts in clarinet and saxophone. At 17, she began to play professionally, which she continues to do in her adult life. And, being a well-acknowledged music composer, she also continues to compose.
After high school, Ms. Noeldner attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she played solo clarinet in the wind ensemble and saxophone in the college jazz band, performing with such jazz greats as Doc Severensen and Joe Morello. While in college, she spent a month in Spain studying Spanish music. The following year, she spent the summer in Switzerland, attending the Institute of Advanced Musical Study, and toured with the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Wind Ensemble throughout Europe. After graduating from college, she was able to land the job in which she was most interested: in a music publishing company in Madison, Wis.
