Heather M. Schneider Recognized for Fluency in Material Procurement
Ms. Schneider employs her decade of industry experience in progressing in her career

DURAND, IL, November 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Heather M. Schneider, Material Planner for Dean Foods Company, has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Business Operations & Administration. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.

With over a decade of polished industry experience, Ms. Schneider demonstrates fluency in material management and procurement. Furthermore, she specializes in production scheduling, general industry safety, inventory control, human resources, accounts payable, customer service and event planning. Her day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring the Rockford plant has quality packaging and ingredients, working with suppliers to resolve problems, evaluating supplier prices to obtain the best quality at the lowest cost, serving as the plant safety coordinator, complying with federal and company standards, and functioning as the facility's technical support associate and trainers.

An affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, Ms. Schneider is simultaneously pursuing a master's degree in organizational leadership and two certifications in production and inventory management, and safety practice; upon their completion, she intends to pursue a certification in computer technology for both leisure and work-related reasons. With a never-ending thirst for knowledge, she attributes her success to hard work and determination. In addition to her certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, she holds a student services award. In the future, Ms. Schneider intends to teach at the university level and attain an upper management position within her company.
