With 15 years of professional experience, Mrs. Smith attributes her success to the support she receives from her colleagues. As the owner of Hahira Automotive Services, she is in charge of overseeing the daily operations of the company, managing six employees and bookkeeping. She became involved in her profession because of her husband's involvement in the automotive industry. In 2004, Mrs. Smith received an Associate of Science in Drafting and Design from Valdosta Technical College (now Wiregrass Georgia Technical College).
