During his educational career, Eric earned his designation as a Certified Public Accountant from the Caulfield Institute of Technology. He graduated from Monash University in 1971, became a Chartered Accountant in 1974 and earned a Marketing certificate in 1978. Mr. Townsend has been in the Rotary Club of Frankston for 18 years and has served as the group's President. He is actively involved in the community, making donations to various charities.
