Claudia S. Sherrod Joins the Ranks of Leading Executives
Claudia Sherrod is the recipient of a Bachelor of Business Administration

PHILADELPHIA, PA, December 31, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Claudia S. Sherrod, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of South Philadelphia HOMES Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business administration and accounting.

With a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the prestigious Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Sherrod is a leader in the nonprofit field. For 16 years, she has served as the executive director and chief executive officer of South Philadelphia HOMES Inc. It is a community service rehabilitation organization that provides not only housing, but social services that include education, counseling and computer literacy. The company also partners with I-Lead and Harcum College to provide its clients with the opportunity to earn an associate degree in leadership.

Ms. Sherrod initiated her work in order to help and inform her community. It is through her ability to meet the needs of others that her organization has proven to be a success. Her goal is to build between 100 and 150 affordable homes within the next five years and find a successor to mentor. Ms. Sherrod is a member of Penn Alumni.
