Melissa P. Mendenhall rose through the ranks to become an executive officer

SHREVEPORT, LA, December 08, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Melissa P. Mendenhall, Secretary and Treasurer for Engineered Solutions, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in accounts management.

Melissa P. Mendenhall has 20 years of professional experience. For the last 15 of these years, she has devoted herself to her position as secretary and treasurer for Engineered Solutions, Inc. She is an executive officer of the company and is in charge of all accounting and business services. Ms. Mendenhall is responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, presiding over sales tax and payroll reporting, and overseeing public relations initiatives and other official activities pertaining to the company. Engineered Solutions, Inc. is a mechanical and electrical engineering firm that provides consultation services on engineered products, primarily for the oil and gas process and gathering industries.

After attending Northwestern State University and Bossier Parish Community College, focusing her studies on nursing, a year before finishing her degree, Ms. Mendenhall decided that nursing was not her cup of tea and that her family business was where her heart was. When Engineered Solutions, Inc. first opened in November of 1995, she was right there by her father's side, working for him and tackling whatever the company needed. She was making deliveries, filing, making copies, and answering phone calls. She directed most of her time and energy into finding ways to develop her family business. While not having had any type of formal training in the accounting department, teaching herself along the way, she has steadily climbed the ranks to where she is today.

Ms. Mendenhall is a member of the Parent-Teacher Association and the Calvary Baptist Academy.
