Richard T. Hernandez has been the county commissioner of Frio County for two years

PEARSALL, TX, December 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard T. Hernandez, County Commissioner of Frio County, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in government services.

Mr. Hernandez has 30 years of overall professional experience. As a county commissioner, he is responsible for overseeing county budget of $15 million, roads and government courts and negotiating third-party contracts for oil companies. He previously worked as a vegetable, grain and peanut farmer. In 1971, he received an associate degree in agriculture, farm and ranch management from Southwest Texas Junior College. Mr. Hernandez is a member of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
