Maria C. Figueroa, financial specialist, is honored for demonstrated dedication at Bronx Preparatory Charter School
BRONX, NY, April 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Maria C. Figueroa, Deputy Chief of Finance and Operations at the Bronx Preparatory Charter School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in financial services.
Skilled in the field of human resource management and accounting, Maria C. Figueroa is noted for her adept ability to manage the accounts of Bronx Preparatory Charter School. At her post, she utilizes her expertise to process payroll, prepare reconciliation statements and budget and oversee accounts payable and receivable. She is also trusted with cash receipts, insurance claims and human resource management. Ms. Figueroa notes that a seemingly innate interest in finance prompted her to become involved in her profession, and attributes her success to unwavering support from her loving fiance and family.
A graduate of Mount Saint Mary College, Ms. Figueroa earned a master of business in finance in 2009. She holds a bachelor of arts in accounting and a bachelor of science in business administration. She served as vice president of Mount Saint Mary's Multicultural Club and was inducted into Who's Who Among Students in 2003. Active within her community, Ms. Figueroa has served as president of Strength and Beauty United, treasurer of a Black Student Union, treasurer of a Latino Student Union and vice president of a multicultural club.
