PONTIAC, MI, June 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stephan Engelke , Ph.D., Vice President of Durr Systems, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in problem resolution.

As the Vice President of Durr Systems, Inc., Stephan Engelke is responsible for overseeing business development and operations in Mexico, the United States and South America, hiring employees, managing profit and loss for the business, generating reports, attending conferences and meetings, and performing strategic planning. Prior to joining Durr Systems, Inc., Mr. Engelke worked for BASF Coatings and Thyssen Krupp. Mr. Engelke has published several articles on polymer science and also received patents for his work. He became involved in his profession after gaining experience working for leading chemical companies, and he attributes his success to his persistence and perseverance.

Mr. Engelke received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Technical University of Braunschweig in 1989. He is a member of the German American Chamber of Commerce, and VAA, Germany.
