BKD Promotes Alex Tio to Senior Managing Consultant
Tio promoted for his ability to deliver unmatched client service and dedication to the firm's values

SPRINGFIELD, MO, May 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Burlew, BKD, LLP regional managing partner, announces the promotion of Alex Tio to senior managing consultant. Tio, who performs system selections, implementations, training and software support for BKD's Microsoft Dynamics AX clients, delivers unmatched client service, embraces change and shows dedication to the firm's values and the accounting industry. He will assume the new role beginning June 1, 2011.

Career paths at BKD are divided into levels, and each position is defined by its own set of duties, responsibilities and competencies requiring cumulative and advanced degrees of education, training and experience. Personnel also must demonstrate their leadership abilities as coaches and mentors, as well as active community members. Individuals become candidates for promotion after successfully mastering their existing level.

Tio is a 1999 graduate of Goshen College, Indiana, with a B.A. degree in business information systems.
