With more than 25 years of accounting experience, Mr. Robertson is a trusted authority on federal corporate income tax. He specializes in research and development incentives and accounting methods. Mr. Robertson utilizes his expertise as an Executive Director of Business Tax Services for Ernst & Young LLP, a leading public accounting firm worldwide. He is responsible for the Connecticut market Quantitative Services tax practice, which provides tax consulting services related to accounting methods and inventories, fixed assets, domestic manufacturing deduction, transaction costs, meals and entertainment costs, and federal and state research credits. Mr. Robertson has consulted with companies in a variety of industries throughout his career including manufacturing, consumer products, automotive suppply chain, airline transportation, electric and gas utilities, oil and gas, financial services, and retail and wholesale distribution. He has also been a speaker for a number of professional organizations including many speaking engagements for the gas utlity industry.

Mr. Robertson attributes his success to his passion for his work and technical-oriented nature. He also credits several invaluable mentors who have guided his career. Coming from a family of accountants, he earned a Master of Science in accounting with an emphasis in tax from Oklahoma State University in 1986. He previously received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Robertson is a certified public accountant in the states of Oklahoma and Connecticut. His professional affiliations include the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In the years to come, Mr. Robertson hopes to increase his leadership responsibilities at Ernst & Young LLP.
