Cambridge Who's Who Names Lina Douglas Professional of the Year in Finance
Lina Douglas celebrates 20 years of helping others manage their money

SURREY, BC, CANADA, October 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lina Douglas, CMA, President of L.E.A. Douglas Consulting, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Finance. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Ms. Douglas serves as the president of L.E.A. Douglas Consulting. An expert in taxes, she manages a wide range of accounting services for individuals and small- to medium-sized business. She also oversees bookkeeping and cash flow analysis. Moreover, she educates her clients on new accounting and tax laws that will impact their business. Earlier in her career, Ms. Douglas worked for Hudson's Bay, Gillette, Northern Telecom, Annacis Auto Terminal and Island Paper Mills, reaching the level of director of finance. She decided to open her own home-based accounting business after her daughter was born.

A Certified Management Accountant, Ms. Douglas holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from McGill University. She is a member of the University's Alumni Association, the CMA Association, the Board of Trade and the Valley Women Network Group.
