Richard Pfaff Named Professional of the Year in Accounting

COLUMBUS, OH, December 01, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard Pfaff, Public Accountant and Owner of Pfaff's Bookkeeping Service, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Accounting. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Richard Pfaff is distinguished for a professional career that has spanned more than 50 years. Now celebrating the third year at the head of his accounting practice, Pfaff's Bookkeeping Service, he is responsible for a wide variety of tasks. He offers his clients a myriad of accounting services for small business, as well as budgeting, cash flow management, tax planning, tax return preparation, payroll services, general ledger preparation and full-charge bookkeeping, to name just a few services.

In addition to managing accounts payable and receivable, Mr. Pfaff handles vendor invoices, requests and maintains vendor W-2 information and master files, prepares 1099 forms and manages year-end 1099's. Mr. Pfaff also maintains records for revenue accounts, prepares and delivers periodic statements, processes daily sales and deposit reports, and oversees account reconciliation and payroll. Additionally, he compiles notifications of tax liabilities and deposits, manages year-end W-2 forms and reconciles health insurance payments for his employees.

Mr. Pfaff holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from the Ohio State University, earned in 1956. He is professionally affiliated with the Ohio Society of CPAs. In 2007, he was presented with a certification of achievement for closing out more fuel contracts by DFAS-Columbus Center. Mr. Pfaff enjoys working with a diverse array of clients to review and prepare financial statements, and looks forward to growing professionally in the coming years.
