Cambridge Who's Who Names Lynda M. Dehn Professional of the Year in Account Management
Ms. Dehn has parlayed her design background into 30 years of success in account management

LONGMONT, CO, August 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lynda M. Dehn, Global Director for Humanscale, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in account management. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

More than 30 years ago, Ms. Dehn established a short-lived career as an interior designer. While working for a design studio, she realized that she wanted the freedom to utilize her design skills in a more flexible environment. She joined Haworth Inc., a design manufacturer for adaptable workspaces, where she worked for 19 years before transitioning into her current role with Humanscale, also a design manufacturer of ergonomic workplace equipment. As global director, Ms. Dehn finds her responsibilities to be extremely fitting. "I have the ability to think outside of the box; I'm open to change, and I have the fortitude to stand by my convictions even when they are not popular," she asserted in an interview with Cambridge Who's Who. In fact, Ms. Dehn believes that it is because of her strong and creative personality that she has met with success over the past three decades.

Ms. Dehn is responsible for enhancing the customer experience and growing each account relationship through the Strategic Account programs, initiatives, standards, tools, training and support procedures. She works directly with the Sales Directors, and the Federal and Global Sales Team, focusing on building stronger customer relationships and growing the business. In addition, she manages the Compliance and Contract Development Department and managing the corporation's contract risk.

Ms. Dehn graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in international business and marketing after obtaining an Associate of Arts in interior design from Alexandria Technical and Community College. She was twice named Divisional Manager of the Year by Haworth: first in 1996, and again in 1998. In her free time, Ms. Dehn volunteers with the Humane Society of the United States and Boulder County. She loves horseback riding, golf and fly fishing.
