Capt. Lesley M. Head Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Navigational Training
Ms. Head's passion for working on the water led her to manage her own navigational school

VICTORIA, BC, CANADA, January 11, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lesley Head, Owner and Operator of Heads-Up Navigation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in navigational training.

As the owner and operator of Heads-Up Navigation, Ms. Head manages all office work, including accounting and billing. She speaks with students about the importance of attending commercial courses, and writes student referrals, recommending students to such programs. In addition to her role as a teacher, she runs whale-watching tours in the summer. She attributes her success to determination, desire to fulfill her needs, and drive to pursue her dreams. She became involved in her profession because she has always wanted to work on the water. She completed the required coursework and received captain's papers.

Ms. Head is pursuing a teaching diploma from Vancouver Community College, having completed coursework in accounting and business administration at Queens College. She is an accredited instructor of Transport Canada and an instructor of the International Sail and Power Association. In years to come, Ms. Head intends to continue maintaining her business, driving boats and instructing classes.
